In addition to those affected and their families, we are always able to welcome people in the audience who have come into contact with depression through their work. On our evening of lectures in Aachen at akis (self-help in the Aachen region), a question from a spectator developed into a very lively discussion about how helpful dealings with clients suffering from depression can look like in an official context. “Not being able to answer the letter on time doesn’t mean you don’t want to!”, a viewer with experience of depression summed up his experience with authorities.
