Konstanz

The invitation from the Konstanz self-help contact point brought us to Lake Constance. In the meeting room of the district office we were able to experience an intensive discussion with the audience. A key topic was the experience of relatives of a person suffering from depression, which many found to be extremely challenging. It is not without reason that the title of a well-known book is quoted: Living with the Black Dog. How family and friends can help depressed people without losing themselves. Helpful support is available in Constance from a group of relatives of the mentally ill that was founded by the self-help contact point and meets regularly at the community psychiatric center.
